We can research your question of state, federal, or even international law, and draft any trial or appellate brief you may require.

Out-sourcing your writing and research saves you time and your client money, but also — because it is our specialty — you are guaranteed the highest-quality product in less time than it would take to write it yourself.

Due to the high cost of online legal research, it is often cheaper to hire a third party to conduct out-of-state and/or specialized research than it is to do it in-house.

The ethical rules in most jurisdictions allow an attorney to add profit when billing a client for the cost of work done by an outside attorney, so long as the overall amount is reasonable. Ozark Legal Writing does not engage in the practice of law, but all work is performed by an Arkansas attorney.

Ozark Legal Writing is an in-state Arkansas attorney

My name is Brad Shepherd, and in July of 2004 I started Ozark Legal Writing in order to focus on doing what I enjoy and do best: crafting legal arguments and writing briefs.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in the spring of 2002, and passed the Arkansas bar examination July of that same year. While in law school, I was a member of Law Review and active in the Board of Advocates (specifically moot court competitions).  After law school I worked for one of the larger Fayetteville law firms where, as a junior associate, I wrote numerous trial and appellate briefs for the senior partners with little or no guidance.

Over the years since 2004, I have researched legal questions and written memoranda and briefs for Arkansas and out-of-state attorneys. My research projects have taken me into almost every legal specialty, from domestic relations to international law, and touched on various constitutional issues as well as criminal, maritime, tax, contract, real estate, environmental, and many, many others. I have written briefs for literally every level of trial and appellate courts, both state and federal.

If you trust me with your legal research and brief writing, you can rest assured that you will receive the best answer and best written product possible.
